An installation releasing the words of young people

Touring South East Lincolnshire from November 2024

Ready to be seen and heard, the words of young people from across South & East Lincolnshire will soon be released to share their truth and inspire the community!

In October 2024, Zest will run workshops for hundreds of young people aged 9-18 across South East Lincolnshire. Our aim? To create space for young people to reflect on their experiences and release the voice of a generation. Co-led by local young people, these workshops will enable the next generation to share their thoughts and feelings about anything and everything– from daily life to the universe's big questions.

Then, in November, their words will be turned into vibrant artworks, ready to be toured to cultural centres, communities and events across the region!

Refresh South & East Lincolnshire will place the voices of young people at the heart of their community, bringing colour and conversation to the places they call home!

Environmental Responsibility

Young people are incredibly concerned about the environment and urgently want the world to prioritise this issue. However, touring, theatre, and public art can be extremely wasteful and have a negative impact on the planet. Zest is therefore working to reduce our work's environmental impact. We want to keep learning and adapting our practice and processes - we’ll therefore be updating the sections below to be transparent about our choices, share our learning, and be accountable for the elements that negatively impact the environment.
