Trustees

Zest is an artist-led theatre organisation creating youth-led theatre, youth spaces and public art that make space for young people to be heard. Based in Lincoln and working nationally, our work is shaped by listening to young people as collaborators and leaders, creating accessible, public-facing cultural experiences.

We are seeking up to three new Trustees/Directors to join our board and support the organisation at this exciting time. Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of Zest Theatre, developing the organisation’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association and other legal and regulatory guidelines.

We are seeking experience in one or more of the following criteria:

  • Advocacy

  • Finance & Business

  • Fundraising & Philanthropy

  • Risk & Governance

The Board of Trustees meets virtually quarterly, plus one in-person Board Away day each year - usually in Lincoln. Trustees may be invited to join a sub-committee, contribute to working groups or bring individual expertise to specific time-limited projects. We encourage applications from across the country. You don’t need to be based in Lincoln, and you don’t need to have been a Trustee before.
