Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public a right of access to the recorded information we hold.

As a publicly funded organisation, all written material we hold, including any correspondence you send, may be considered for release following a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 unless the information is exempt.

All requests for information should be in writing. You can request by contacting us:

Please mark your request as a freedom of information request and try to be specific about the information you want. This helps us deal with your request efficiently. 

You will get the information faster if you help us identify the exact information you require. Make sure that you:

·       are specific about exactly what information you want
·       provide us with a narrow, tightly focused request
·       give, where appropriate, a relevant time frame the information relates to

You can also state how you wish to receive the information by letter or email.

We will deal with your request as quickly as we can.  We acknowledge requests within five working days and respond in full within 20 working days. If we need to contact you to clarify what information you are requesting, we will respond within 20 days of receiving your clarification.
